I've gotten bored of deviant art. I want to start a blog. Having an account on deviant art does come with some baggage and it sets you up into a mind set where you assume what the etiquette is (come on, how many of you have actually read the rules) and there's no doubt everyone sees it a little differently. Every artist needs reference. Not every artist uses it but they do need it. It isn't cheating and it is hard. It is the foundation of every good picture whether it's a straight up dead ringer or inspiration by the thinnest of connections.
